Conditional Formatting

I want to apply conditional formatting to a cell and I want it to change the
colour of the cell to blue if the cell is not blank. Would I use the IF
function. If yes, how would I write the formula to colour the cell if the
cell is not blank. I'm not sure how to indicate "not blank" in the formula. I
am using Excel 2003

Thanks very much for your help.

Best regards,

Dee

One way:

CF1: Formula is =NOT(ISBLANK(A1))
Format1: patterns/blue
