GETPIVOTDATA -- How do I shut it OFF!
We've upgraded to Excel2003, and when I use formulas that reference anything in a Pivot table it automatically uses a GETPIVOTDATA formula. How do I shut off that annoying feature? I want a plan +A1 reference . . . It makes the formulas more of a reference to the pivot table itself, so you can't just "copy them" and get a normal formula. -- besbaum ------------------------------------------------------------------------ besbaum's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=25208 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=386936 |
There are instructions here for adding the Generate GetPivotData button
to a toolbar, and toggling the feature on and off: http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot06.html besbaum wrote: We've upgraded to Excel2003, and when I use formulas that reference anything in a Pivot table it automatically uses a GETPIVOTDATA formula.
