Duplicated data

Hi all

I have a large worksheet with Company names entered into Column A, however,
the names are duplicated and the same one can appear up to 20 times.

Is there a quick way I can ask Excel to search the column for me and leave
just one instance of each name, rather than having to delete the duplicates
manually?

Thank you.

Look at <Data<Filter <advanced Filter
another way
use a helper column
enter in B1
=Countif($A$1:$A1,A1)
copy down to the bottom of your data.
Sort columns A and B by Column B
Delete all of the Column A and B Cells where B is greater than 1

Thank you both for your help. The Advanced Filter solution worked perfectly.
