Finding possible sums to match a figure
 

I have a list of numbers, some of which total a value. I would like to find
a formula or function which will search through the possible numbers and tell
me the suggested combinations which equal this number.

Jodi,

You can do that for up to about 30 values - beyond that it becomes too big
of a problem for a PC.

I have an example workbook that I can email to you if you contact me
privately. Reply to me, but take out the spaces and change dot to . in my
address.
