Tab in a cell?
Hello,
I am using Excel 2003. Is there any way to insert a tab in a celll rather than ,say, having to press the space bar 6 or 7 times to create the illusion of a tab. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance. Ket London |
Yes, this is possible. I have 'Increase Indent' and 'Decrease Indent' buttons on my Formatting toolbar, but don't remember if these are standard or if I added them. You can add to a toolbar by going to View/Toolbars/Customize - go to Formatting and scroll down to find the buttons. Then drag them to a toolbar. Also, if you select a cell and go to Format/Cells / Alignment tab, there is a place to increase or decrease indent there also. by holding both ctrl & alt and then click tab, you can insert tab in one cell
(not in edit mode. But I still have no idea on how to insert tab after some content. "Ket" wrote: Hello, I am using Excel 2003.
