I was unable to find the link to the thread but run a search for "cells
format" in this forum and you'll see a post dated 9/24/04 in Excel General
which has some discussion and links to other web sites.

It didn't look encouraging.

hi otavio,

what i understand is u want to cut & paste some cell to heavy sheet,

1-when u want to take data from on sheet to another which is very big,
u need to copy as copy ,paste special, values...

2-if u are coping visible cells ,these arenot copied to another sheet
wherein their is a auto filter given to the sheet

3-while coping to another sheet u always need to look where u r pasting
the copied cells, if the other sheet contains merged cells it will not
allow u to copy the same..

this might suffice , in case mail with exampleon

regards,

virendra
