time sheet calc by time in and out
Can you calculate total hours by entering the start and finish time? For
example, can you enter 11:30a.m. as the start time and 4:00p.m. as the finish time and get 4.5 as the calculated answer. If excel can calculate this figure, then, what format should the cells be in--in order to be able to enter simply 12 to get 12:00 or 845 to get 8:45. Is any of this possible? Thanks |
If A1 contains 8:00 am and B1 contains 4:00 pm...
