converting hours to days,hours,minutes
Staff leave is allocated in hours. One working day is 7:30. Therefore eg 30
hours is 4 days. How do I convert eg 188 hours to days:hours:minutes? Thank you N Harkawat and Ron Rosenfeld for your excellent replies to my previous question. Hope you can help on this one. |
You could use a formula like
=INT(A1/7.5)&" d "&TEXT(MOD(A1,7.5),"hh:mm") -- HTH RP (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "L_n_da" wrote in message ... Staff leave is allocated in hours. Try this:
=INT(A1/7.5)&" Days, "&INT(MOD(A1,7.5))&" Hours, "&(MOD(A1,7.5)-INT(MOD(A1,7.5)))*60&" Minutes" -- HTH, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "L_n_da" wrote in message ...
