How do I hide columns using a button that slides back and forth
I went to an Excel class once and they showed us a very simple way to hide
and unhide columns or rows using a button that looks like it slides back and forth (it actually looked like a volume control button that slid back and forth)to hide and unhide the colums. It was sort of like a zipper... I can't remember how to create that sliding button... |
Hi,
I guess you are talking about outlining. Select the range which you want to outline. On the keyboard, press the combination of Alt+Shift+Right Arrow key and select rowa or columns. Now you will get a minus symbol on the row or column columns. Press the minus symbol to contract the outline.
