Problem with data from Access
Hi, I have a worksheet, which brings data over from an Access Database.
This has been working perfectly up until this morning, and I dont know what has changed to stop it working. Essentially, it brings data over from a query in an Access database. When I went to update the data this morning, i got and error message sayng that I had no read permissions on tblStudents in the database. If I click to continue, I get a further message, The following datarange failed to refresh: Query from MIS_system_4. But when I go to the database i can open all of the tables, and having looked at the actual table permissions, see that I have all rights ( I created database in any case). I can refresh the other three columns of data without any problem. I though it might be a problem with the data connector, so i created a new one and when I get the Query Wizard displayed, i can see all the tables and queries from the database. However on this one query if I click to display the fields I get nothing (all other queries and fields drop down to allow field selection) In Access I then created a new query with a different name - same problem. Has anyone any ideas what is going on please? Thanks S |
