I know how to filter out the duplicates, but I want to see exactly which ones

If you use the count function, you can auto filter the results for any Count results that aren't 1. -- JVLOLLAR ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JVLOLLAR's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=23721 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=373888 |
one way to do it visually is to use conditional formating
if column A is the column of interest formula is =countif($A$1:$A$1000,A1)1 set formating as you want Note you may have to go back into The Conditional Formating drop down and check that it did not add Quote marks around the equation. this seems ot happen occasionally.
