Edit cell automatically takes you to cell

In Office 97 if you double clicked on a cell to edit it you would
automatically be brought to the cell you were editing. For example if your
cell contained the formula +C5 and you double clicked the cell you would be
taken to cell C5. This does not seem to work in Office 2003. Am I missing
something?

Duke Carey

Under ToolsOptionsEdit, uncheck Edit Directly in Cell
