Select the row header at left and use the color picker.

Or do you mean "gridlines"?

If want to change the entire row color, then

step 1: shift + space bar (short cut to select entire row
step 2: right click
step 3: format cells
step 4: go to fill and give the required color

If you want to change the entire column, then

Step 1: cltr + space bar
follow steps 2 to step 4 as above.

menu FormatCells
