WEEKNUM function not working
 

Hello,

I have a cell to calculate current week number, =WEEKNUM(TODAY())
and I have the analysis toolpak checked in the Add-In menu, but it still
result "####". I am running Excel 2003.

What other alternative can I use to show current week? Thanks

Sorry correction. It results "#NAME?", not ####

Hi,

The only way I know for it to return ### is if the cell is too narrow but
that seems unlikely for a (max) 2 digit number.

Is it definately #### or is it #NAME and you can't see that because the cell
is too narrow. Widen the cell and look.

Are you sure you checked the correct Toolpak, there are 2. You want the
analysis toolpak but it will do no harm to select the VB one also

Did you select the ATP after you entered the formula? If so select the cell
tap F2 and then enter.

It return "#NAME?". I did all the thing you mentioned, but still doesn't work.

I think you should try loading the analysis toolpak once more.

In fact, excel's help for Weeknum describes (through a link) how to do this.
