Default Stop text from stringing into next field when empty

Thank you for that info, but I guess I should have mentioned that one
too. I tried that and it makes the rows way too tall, so that is not an
option either. I also can't "shrink to fit" because then my Mom won't be
able to see the words. I just thought there was a way to "contain" the
text in a cell and have it "cut off" where the next cell begins.

Thanks!

When I have a "sentence" of text in a field and the field next to it
is
empty, the sentence text strings into it and you don't see a empty
field. I know that I can change the width of the field that the
sentence is in, but that won't work in this case because I need it
small, so is there a way to stop the text from wandering into the
next
field? This is not a Merge issue, by the way, Merge is not checked. I
can go into the empty field and hit the space button to make the
field
before it (with the sentence) think that its not empty, but that only
works while you have it open, even if you save, the string comes back
the next time you access the file.

HELP!!
Thanks,
Lalla
