What function to use
I have a question, I have an assigment to do but I do not know how. Here is
the thing there is going to be 3+ columns. In Each column it will have some numbers, than from those numbers I need to make a formula that will put that article in right category. Here is Example (I don't know how to explain because they did not know how to explain to me but this is what I think it is) Coulmn A Column B Column C 500 0 0 400 0 0 100 0 0 As you can see column A first would be in category 1 as the best, 400 in category 2 and 100 in 3. Now if in 400 there was number 3 in column B it should be placed in category 3. Also 500 if it had lets say 5 in column C it should go to category 2, had 10 in column C it should go to category 3. So it goes like in chain, if 500 had 3 in Column B it should go to category 3. Now I know I really did confuse you but I am really sorry because I am really confused. I would like some kind of formula that would eighter say "Category 1", or just simple 1 This is for some kind of observation that they came up with and I am really confused and it is really out of my expertise. Thank you so much for your time! |

Working only from your interpretation, we have less chance than you of guessing what your professor wants. -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA http://OakRoadSystems.com Shikata ga nai... |
