Invoice Numbers
 

Hi all

I want to automate Invoice numbers to my spreadsheets. I have saved the
file as Read Only. When I open my Excell 2003 I enter client details. I
want an invoice number allocated to this client upon being saved. When I
open this client file the next day to update details I don't want the Invoice
number to change.

Is it possible to numeric Invoice numbers from a Read Only File, as I will
only access this file when dealing with a new customer, and this is when I
need the next invoice number
