EXCEL 2007
MS documentation says:- to insert the current date and time, press CTRL+; (semi-colon), then press SPACE, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+; (semi-colon). Please hit Yes if my comments have helped. Thanks. I was going to say that!
1. On a worksheet, select the cell into which you want to insert the current date or time. 2. Do one of the following: To insert the current date, press CTRL+; (semi-colon). To insert the current time, press CTRL+SHIFT+; (semi-colon). to insert the current date and time, press CTRL+; (semi-colon), then press SPACE, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+; (semi-colon). If this is for users it's probably best to set it up as a macro for them to enter - alt a - much less to go wrong. -- Russell Dawson Excel Student Please hit "Yes" if this post was helpful. Hi Russell,
I know about this function CTRL+; (semi-colon) and CTRL+SHIFT+; but in my Excel (version 2003) it works only for date CTRL + ; and not for time:-(( SA So I'll use macro. Thank you for your time, Valdemar. Russell Dawson pÃ*Å¡e: I was going to say that! 1. On a worksheet, select the cell into which you want to insert the current date or time. 2.
