INDEX / MATCH HELP
Hi
Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way but am trying to get results from a competition showing name place and score (top 3 only) onto a seperate worksheet. There are 4 events for each group. While I can get the results I want on the same worksheet I would really like a new worksheet so that I can put in a heap of different results from different groups and print out as one report. I'm currently using the following formula. =INDEX($F$3:$F$14,MATCH(LARGE($E$3:$E$14,ROW(A1)), $E$3:$E$14,0)) Hope you can understand what I'm after. Any help or advice would be graciously accepted. INDEX / MATCH HELP
Hi,
Let' say you have the information in the sheet called sheet1, in the other sheet enter the formula =INDEX(sheet1!$F$3:$F$14,MATCH(LARGE(sheet1!$E$3:$ E$14,ROW(A1)),sheet1!$E$3:$E$14,0)) "challenged" wrote: Hi Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way but am trying to get results from a competition showing name place and score (top 3 only) onto a seperate worksheet.
