Adding totals in columns

I have a worksheet that we have hidden rows in. I want to find the sum of a
column without picking up the hidden row values? I can I get a sum without
including the hidden cell values?

What version of Excel are you using?

If you're using Excel 2003 or later try this:

=SUBTOTAL(109,A1:A10)

change range to fit your needs
