vlookup with result TRUE not updating cell

I'm using vlookup to populate sheet 2 from sheet1. This is working for part
of the spreadsheet, stops for 8 rows then continues working. According to
the Function Arguments the lookup result is true, but no update takes place.
Is it possible to see the cell value it thinks it's returning? The data in
ascending order as required.

It might help if you posted your formula(s)

In the "Formula Auditing" toolbar, you can "evaluate formula" and go
ste-by-step through the formula to see what XL is seeing each step of the
formula.

Beyond that, it would help us if you posted the formula and a sampel of the
data, and what you expect to see vs. what you currently see.
