hello
I have company #'s in column C ...the invoice amts are in column P & Q...I would like ...if there are 2 invoices i would like the invoice total of "P" and "Q" just a side note ...the unique company numbers are in the row right after each other then there is 2 row space between each different companies..

thanks bill

ps what I'am doing to get the totals now is copy formula and paste..

EX:

company #'s invoice cost
123 2008 100.00 34.00
123 2009 200.00 68.00
100.00 34.00

would like 2009 total - 2008 total

Take a look at the Data Subtotals feature.....it may do what you want.
