What if analysis icon is not available
 

My class is working with Goal Seek. They go to the Data tab and most of the
icons are gray shaded and can't be clicked on. One of them is the What If
analysis where we pick the Goal Seek. The next student is fine and has all
icons available. Help!

Have then started to type into a cell and not completed the operation with
ENTER?

Hi,

They may be editing a certain entry (via F2 or the cursor may be in the
formula bar)
