using cells.numberformat
Hi,
how can i use the numberformat of cells to convert to a text i have put in worksheets("x").cells(1,1).numberformat = "Text" but i doesn't seem to work appreciate any advise tks & rdgs |
Hi
Changing the format to text after data is entered has no effect. For example a number 1234 entered in a cell with general or number format will enter as a number. If you change the format of that cell it still contains a number until the data is re-entered. I have got round this in the past with a small macro to loop through the cells and re-enter the data.
