Copy data ONLY from a function cell
I want to copy and paste the data derived a function in a cell. If I copy the
cell, it will carry the function with it. Is there a way I can copy only the data (i.e. 98.26) and not the function with it (i.e. =AVERAGE(I3:I6)) to paste into another cell or non-excel document? Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
Instead of picking Paste, pick paste Speciial and then from the dialog box pick Values. If this helped please press Yes. Right click in the cell you'd like to paste the data, choose "Paste Special",
then select the "Values" radio button "AAA1986" wrote: I want to copy and paste the data derived a function in a cell. If I copy the cell, it will carry the function with it.
