Hi there.
Please, try putting in cell A2 of page 2: =Page1!A2/Page1!A9 Where Page1 is the name of your first sheet, as it appears on the sheet tab. Put this in A2 on sheet2:
=Sheet1!A2/Sheet1!A9 You put the formula in the cell where you want the result to be displayed, and if the formula refers to a cell on another sheet then you have to include a reference to the sheet name - with apostrophes around it if it contains space(s). Hope this helps. Pete On Dec 7, 7:10*pm, Stac wrote: I am trying to divide 2 numbers on page 1 of workbook and have the resultant on page 2 of same workbook (ex: A2/A9 = answer on page 2 at A2). On **sheet** 2, put this formula in the cell you want the division result to
be in... =Sheet1!A2/Sheet1!A9 where Sheet1 is the worksheet name containing the A2 and A9 cells you want to reference (change it in my formula as necessary). If your sheet names have spaces in them, then surround the sheet name with apostrophes; for example, if your sheet were named "Sheet One", then the above formula would be... ='Sheet One'!A2/'Sheet One'!A9 -- Rick (MVP - Excel) "Stac" wrote in message ...
