Stripping out characters
Hi-
I have a field that contains email addresses. I would like to strip the address down to just the domain: = gmail = comcast = aol So essentially I want to capture anything after the "@", up to the "." I'd appreciate your suggestions! |

Copy the column to another column--just in case:
Select the column Edit|Replace what: *@ with: (leave blank) replace all (and once more) edit|Replace what: .* with: (leave blank) replace all Stephanie wrote: Hi- I have a field that contains email addresses.
