VLOOKUP displays formula rather than result Excel 2007
I entered a VLOOKUP function in a cell using the function wizard. In the
wizard window, the correct result is displayed but when I hit enter the formula is entered in the cell but displays the formula rather than the result. Auto calculate is on. Is there something else I need to do in Excel 2007 to get the result to display? 810 =VLOOKUP(D51,'Map Listing'!E1:H3256,4,false) US35161030 |

It sounds like the cell is formatted as TEXT.
Change the cell format to General, then double click in the cell then hit Enter. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "cyberlill" wrote in message ... The cell is probably formatted as text. Simply format the cell as 'General',
return to the cell, and press [Enter] and it should then show the formula results. "cyberlill" wrote: I entered a VLOOKUP function in a cell using the function wizard.
