How do I add (auto text) to a paragraph?
 

I"m trying to add "auto text" to a text paragraph. What I would like to do
is have the date automically appear and update when the file is opened.

You can use the function Today:

If you want the date standalone, in a cell insert the function =TODAY().

If you, instead, want the date inside text, in a cell insert this formula:

="first part of your text "&TODAY()&" second part of your text".
