Copy Transpose and Link Data
I have a lot of data which I wish to copy and paste special transpose between
one worksheet and another. Is it possible to retain the links to the original source data and if so how does one do it? So, for example, I wish to copy WorksheetRT!A1:A10 and copy transpose it to WorksheetBV!P6:P11, but still retain the links to WorksheetRT!A1:A10 source data cells. Is there a formula which will allow me to do this in Excel and, if so, then please could you write the formula out since I am a relative novice? regards Neil |
Copy Transpose and Link Data
Try this in WorksheetBV cell P6 and copy down as required
=INDEX('WorksheetRT'!$A$1:$A$10,ROW(A1)) to copy across from P6 , Q6 =INDEX('WorksheetRT'!$A$1:$A$10,COLUMN(A1)) If this post helps click Yes --------------- Jacob Skaria "Neil" wrote: I have a lot of data which I wish to copy and paste special transpose between one worksheet and another.
