You want an editable scan or just an image?
An editable scan would be dependent upon the efficacy of the OCR application you are using and the type of document you are scanning. A good OCR should give you good results. Scan to a *.txt file then open that in Excel. hi
not a purely scanned document. scanners produce document that are more like pictures and excel cannot read these as documents. you would need to have OCR (optical character recognition) software. most newer scanners come with this built in so check your scanner's documentation to see if it has OCR software and how to use. if you scanner does not have OCR software, do a google on OCR software. there are some commercial version available but can get expensive. there are also free verisons available but some i've heard aren't very good so be careful.
