Unprotected cells
i have a form that needs input in some cells and then needs to be printed. I
would like to color those cells so the user knows which cells they can change but i dont want the colors to show up when i print the form |

You could use conditional formatting to set the colour if the cell is
blank (eg bright yellow), but once the users have typed something in, the cell reverts to a non-coloured background. Hope this helps. Another option is to use CF with a text string which wil never be used
Formatconditional FormattingCondition1 'Cell Value Is' 'not equal to' in the third box type "~~~~" and select a fill color If this post helps click Yes --------------- Jacob Skaria "Mainer" wrote: i have a form that needs input in some cells and then needs to be printed.
