cannot copy in excel by dragging a cell
 

I cannot copy the cells by dragging down the cell..
the cursor doesn't change when placing near the right bottom corner of the
cell.

what seems to be the issue??

XL2003 : From menu ToolsOptionsEdit tabCheck Allow Drag and Drop

XL 2007; then review the 3rd option under
Office ButtonExcel OptionsAdvanced'Enable fill handle and cell
drag-and-drop'

Under Tools - options, Edit tab, make sure the "allow cell drag & drop" is
enabled.
