Duplicate lines in spreadsheet
I have a spreadsheet with approx 4,000 lines. There are duplicate items in
Column A. How can I eliminate the entire Row if there is a duplicate in Column A ?? Thanks. |
Duplicate lines in spreadsheet
You want to keep one of each duplicate?
Select column A DataFilterAdvanced FilterUnique records only and Copy to another location. Or see Chip Pearson's site for flagging duplicates for deletion. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/Duplicates.aspx Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 25 Sep 2009 12:42:01 -0700, Chip wrote: I have a spreadsheet with approx 4,000 lines.
