Grouping a timeline in a pivot table by months.
My data is 10 years of rainfall observations from 3 different meteorological
observation stations. Observation dates are placed in the Row Labels category. Values are placed in the Values category, making av sum of rainfall. The observation stations and actual years are placed in the Report Filter category. I want to group the row labels by months. In Excel 2003 this is easy, just right-click the row label and choose 'month'. In Excel 2007 this seems impossible. Why? |
