Where is the list function in the data menu?

I have excel 2007 and I can't find the list function in the data menu. I am
trying to help someone with a project and their teacher wants them to create
a list from the data we already have so that they can create invoices. Please
help me.

In Excel 2007 Lists have been replaced by Tables.

To find this in Excel 2007

On the 'Insert' Tab in the Tables group click Table.
