hi

wonder if anyone can help

in excel i wish to have cells a,b,c,d and f change to a certain colour when
i insert a charater in cell g

any ideas?

a, b c etc are not cells. Those are columns only.

Please describe what cells or range is to be colored when a particular cell
has a character inserted.

In your description please use real cell addresses like A1:F10 and G1

Any character inserted or a specific character?
