How can I,
a) add a button to a worksheet, and
b) assign a macro to that button?

Easiest us selet forms toolar. Select button. This opens up macro
window-record macro. You didn't specify what event you want the button to
accomplish.

Yes, here it is:
Easiest is select forms toolar. Select button. This opens up macro
window-record macro. You didn't specify what event you want the button to
accomplish.

I found it easier to record the macro first then add button and assign the
recorded macro.
