I have a large spreadsheet that I need to protect some rows. These rows
are not in sequence or determined interval. These rows contain formulas
which I would like them to be password protected.

I'm guessing that your core problem lies in selecting all the formula cells

You can press F5SpecialCheck FormulasOK
to select all cells with formulas in that sheet in one go

Usual sequence to protect:
"Unlock" entire sheet (via FormatCellsProtection tab), then
"Lock" all formula cells in the sheet (after selecting as above, via
FormatCellsProtection tab)
Apply ToolsProtectionProtect Sheet (password, etc)
