Hidden cells
I'm trying to do a simple calculation in a worksheet that contains
hidden/subtotaled cells. When I enter = to begin the calculation all hidden cells expand to show all data and I only need to see those cells which have subtotal amounts (this is quite frustrating in a worksheet with 6,000 rows). What do I need to do to my settings to ensure that the hidden rows remain hidden when I'm attempting to complete a calculation? |
Hidden cells
In xl2003 menus:
Tools|Options|transition tab|uncheck "Transition navigation keys" In fact, if you're not a recent Lotus 123 convert to excel, I'd recommend that you uncheck all those transition settings.
