Excel not updating when figures are changed
 

Spreadsheet set up for capacity planning. However when I change the number
of staff, the formula's behind the cells are not immediately updating the
results. Results are only updated after I have saved the spreadsheet. What
could be the cause of this?

I suspect that you have Calculation set to manual with recalc before saving.

Try this:
Tools.Options.Calculation
Select Automatic
