You really need to tell us more about your data. Is it always a given number of characters or is that variable. The formatting tricks that have been recommended work for numbers of the same length. To handle variable length number highlight your input range and choose Format, Cells, Number tab, Text. Then enter the numbers. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
