I have over 10,000 lines of this field '3/27/2009 12:00:00 AM'
How do I get rid of time '12:00:00 AM', but keep 3/27/2009?

If these entries are date/time entries format cells to Date format .
FormatCellsDate select the desired format

Select the entire range, then do Format - Cells - Number tab - Date and
