How do I split a sheet so I can have different amount of columns?

I have a worksheet that I need to separate in two parts. This is to be able
to insert columns on one part of the worksheet without affecting the other
part of the worksheet.

Either place the part that will have columns inserted to the right of the
part that you want unaffected, or move one of the parts to a second worksheet.
