Why doesn't it print the colours?
I've a worksheet with an invoice template. There's a logo in colour but it
always prints in black and white. Can anyone tell me why and what to do about it? It's an older template but I'm sure it has worked before... Thanks! |

Go into the printer setup and see if you can find an option to print in Color
or Grayscale. (Could be black and white in lieu of Grayscale). I can't give you specific instructions because Printer Setup is different for different printers but you need to click File- Print or if in xl2007 then click MS button (top left of screen) then Print - Print. -- Regards, OssieMac "EN" wrote: I've a worksheet with an invoice template. I wish it was that simple but it isn't. The setting is colour on the printer.
I've tried on another computer and printer as well with the same result, which lead me to think that it's a setting in the worksheet?! Click on File/Page Setup in Excel's menu bar, go to the Sheet tab on the
dialog box that appears and see if the Black and White CheckBox is checked within the Print section of the dialog page. -- Rick (MVP - Excel) "EN" wrote in message ... Hi Rick,
Is that for Excel 2007? My language is set to Swedish so it sometimes makes it a bit tricky to find the right commands... For future reference, you should always mention the version of Excel that
you are using when you ask questions on newsgroups. They really hid the dialog box I referred to in XL2007. Click the Page Layout tab, the look at the bottom right corner of the Page Setup panel... you will see a small square icon with a very small angled arrow symbol in it... click that icon and the tabbed dialog box I referred to will be display... go to the Sheet tab and see if the Black and White CheckBox is checked within the Print section of the dialog page. -- Rick (MVP - Excel) "EN" wrote in message ... It was checked??? Really? Then no, I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas.
That is the only way I know of to control color/BW print out. I've never played with the Draft CheckBox.. was it checked by any chance? -- Rick (MVP - Excel) "EN" wrote in message ...
