hits divided by at bats

A1 = 135
B1 = 75

Gord Dibben

Same way you would do it with pencil and paper.

Hits divided by at bats.

=75/135 returns .555 (sign that batter immediately)

Or with 135 in A1 and 75 in B1

=B1/A1 returns .555

The / mark is the divide by sign in Excel.
