How can I add up a column of times to give me a total expressed in hrs/mins
and secs or alternatively simply convert a number into minutes and secs - ie 2.82 = 3m22sec ?? |

Use SUM() function and format the total cell to CustomFormat [h]:mm:ss

What is the range of numbers you have? A1 = 2.82 =TIME(0,INT(A1),MOD(A1,1)*100) Format as m:ss returns 3:22 That won't work on anything greater than or equal to 60 minutes.
