Excel 2007
How to change view so that when filling data into cells and it goes to next
page that new page is shown horizontally (side by side) not vertically under
the last page. Same applies when you open a multipage worksheet, the pages
are viewed side by side.

View sheets (pages) horizontally

Hi,

If you want to open 2 views of the same workbook so as to see 2 different
worksheets at the same time, you may create a new window the current
workbook from View Window New Window. Now go to View Window Arrange
All ad select the orientation you want.

Now that you have 2 views, you may see different worksheets of the same
workbook

Hi,

I'm not clear on the question. Are you in Page Layout View? and what do
you mean by when filling data into cells it goes to next page?

If you press the Tab key or Right Arrow key the cursor moves to the right
and if you are in the last column of a sheet this means that the cursor is in
the next page to the right. If you want this behavior when hitting Enter
then choose Office Button, Excel Options, Advanced tab, and change the
Direction to Right (the first option on this tab).

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Cheers,
Shane Devenshire

Many thanks. Just for interest I use 2007 Office but save as 2003 Office as
most of my Word/Excel work is done on older computers. Can you tell me why
some of the 'word' icons in Windows Explorer are dark or light blue?
