desperate.. convert to number column...
I've tried this for couple hours and it's time to seek help now.
I have a big chunk of data importing from Klippel, a software that I believe most people rarely used it. when I use isnumber on the cells, the result is false. I have followed over 5 methods (I want automatic method so that I don't need to type in manually) but all failed. I follow the thread he http://support.microsoft.com/kb/181298 tried out almost all the method but have no good luck. Anyone can direct me how to do that? I want to attach my file here but how can I do that? Thanks... |

Not sure which methods you've used...
Have you tried typing the number 1 into a blank cell, copying this cell, highlighting your expected ukbers, paste special/multiply? this would force format change to number...
