Eliminating Duplicates in Excel 2007
I have a customer name (Tina) and numbers that go with Tina's information
(575, 125, and 700). How can I find the highest number, and delete the other numbers as well? I want to find her highest score, and keep it, and then remove any other numbers. I tried putting a table in, and then filtering, and finding the highest number (MAX function) but I still have all her other numbers. |

Hi,
Sort the data on the Number column in Descending order and then with both the Name and Number column selected use the Data, Remove Duplicates command, uncheck Number and click OK. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
